Founder: Swami Pranavananda Ji Maharaj
The Bharat Sevashram Sangh was founded in 1917 by the great patriot-saint Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj. He was a spiritual leader who dedicated his life to the service of humanity.
Born in 1896 in Faridpur district of present-day Bangladesh, he was a beacon of selfless service and a champion of the downtrodden. He believed that the path to national salvation lay in the regeneration of the masses through the twin ideals of 'service and sacrifice'. His teachings continue to inspire millions, emphasizing that service to humanity is the highest form of worship.
